George Brown College (GBC) (ABN 94 134 936 454; Provider 91707; CRICOS 03208D) is a Registered Training Organisation (RTO) located centrally within the Sydney CBD on Level 5, 191 Thomas Street Sydney.
GBC acknowledges the Gadigal people of the Eora Nation, the Boorooberongal people of the Dharug Nation, the Bidiagal people and the Gamaygal people, upon whose ancestral lands our College stands. We would also like to pay respect to the Elders both past and present, acknowledging them as the traditional custodians of knowledge for these lands.
GBC campus is located at the heart of Sydney CBD with many local attractions at its doorstep, including, Chinatown, Darling Harbour and the Ultimo cultural and education precinct (which includes the ABC and Powerhouse Museum). We are close to Central Station and within a five-minute walk from Light Rails and buses.
GBC has a culturally diverse campus life, offering nationally recognised training qualifications and accredited courses supported by a quality assured curriculum, meeting Standards for Registered Training Organisations, National standards for ELICOS providers and courses requirements and ESOS act.
George Brown College (GBC) is established in the year 2010. The Founder of GBC is a passionate educationalist who has a desire to provide quality education to each and every student. She dreamt of sharing her experiences from her life to people who sought to learn. Her own teaching experiences and life achievements of her old students has always encouraged her to provide the best for students. Her aim was to build a TEAM with expertise from various areas and with good moral values. She allows her students and staff to grow both professionally and personally to make them feel contented in their life. She aims to reach an even higher potential to deliver to her students as she truly believes in Nelson Mandela’s words, “Education is the most powerful weapon which you can be used to change the World.”
GBC offers ELICOS Courses and various vocational education and training (VET) courses across several disciplines.
GBC’s ELICOS Course is delivered by the finest teachers in Sydney. Our VET Academic Staff has the necessary qualification, skills and knowledge to share their experiences in class with real-life examples for students to learn from. GBC Support Team ensures Students are looked after to achieve their goals, manage their health and well-being.
