• Please review our list of Agents. George Brown College collaborates with education agents to promote our courses. All education agents representing our college have entered into an official agreement with us. We regularly assess their activities and conduct, to ensure they uphold our high standards. It’s unusual for additional fees to be requested by agents once you’ve been accepted to study at the College in Australia. If you are asked for extra fees, please contact the College’s General Manager. Before applying to study, the education agent must provide prospective students with the following information:
• Before the application is made by the students, Agent must give information to prospective students. These information are provided by George Brown College to the agents via regular training and meetings with the GBC Marketing Team representatives. These information includes but is not limited to:
  GBC’s facilities, equipment and learning resources/content
  Learning and student service portal, including course offerings and entry requirements
  Course duration, class schedules, and assessment methods
  Recognition of prior learning or credit transfer requirements
  Course fees, refund conditions, and potential changes

• Living in Australia and the local environment of the relevant campus, including information about campus location, accommodation availability, and costs of living
  The minimum level of English language proficiency, educational qualifications and work experience required for acceptance into a course
  Visa requirements which must be satisfied by the prospective student including English language proficiency levels
  Conditions imposed on student visas including satisfactory academic progress and working rights
  Qualifications gained upon completion
• George Brown College’s requirement to report to relevant Australian government authorities for a student’s failure to meet their visa conditions.
  Admission procedures, credit transfers and the recognition of prior learning (RPL) policies at George Brown College
  George Brown College’s internal and external Complaints & Appeals procedures
  Grounds on which a student’s enrolment may be deferred, suspended or cancelled
  Non-academic student support services of special relevance to overseas students
• The Representative must tell prospective students that:
  All students who come to Australia on a student visa must have a primary purpose of studying and must undertake full-time study.
  Any school age dependents that accompany them to Australia are required to pay full fees when they enroll in either government or non-government schools.
  They are required to notify George Brown College in writing of any change in their contact details, such as their Australian residential address and telephone number.
